Job title: Security Associate - Physical & Technical

What you’ll be doing:
1. Conduct physical and technical security assessments, including facility threat and vulnerability assessments, vital area identification, security surveys, and operational requirements in support of the Physical Protection System (PPS).
2. Provide expertise in designing and selecting physical and technical security measures to address a broad range of threats, acting as the 'intelligent customer'.
3. Coordinate and conduct physical security testing to identify vulnerabilities and ensure the effectiveness of security measures.
4. Collaborate with other security disciplines, facility management, and outside agencies to plan and deliver effective security solutions and create resilient, secure working environments.
Your skills and experiences:
1. Strong leadership or management skills.
2. Experience in a similar role, ideally within Critical National Infrastructure (CNI), Defence, law enforcement, or other highly regulated environments.
3. Practical understanding of security procedures.

The Physical & Technical Security Team:
The Security Associate works within the Physical and Technical Security Team, responsible for assessing and implementing physical and technical security measures to protect BAE Systems, its personnel, infrastructure, information, and assets, fulfilling regulatory and legal obligations. We offer relocation support for all Submarines roles, subject to eligibility.
