Salary Scale: £450-£525 per week

Contract type: Long-term, 5 days a week, 8:30 - 15:30 with an early finish on Friday
Job Overview
This role is ideal for graduates interested in social justice, mental health, SEN, or social care fields such as counselling, youth justice, or criminal justice. You will support students with social, emotional, and mental health needs in an alternative provision setting.
Responsibilities
* Work with classes of 3-6 pupils, supporting their social and emotional development
* Build positive relationships with students and staff
* Assist in implementing restorative and therapeutic approaches to education
* Support students in developing key personal skills through engaging activities like sports, cooking, coding, etc.
Requirements
* Undergraduate Degree (preferable) and/or SEN experience, especially relevant for criminology and psychology graduates
* Good educational background in English and Maths (5 GCSEs or equivalent)
* Interest or experience in activities that promote personal development outside core academics
* Understanding of diverse learning and behavioral needs, including SEMH and autism
