Job Title: PE and Outdoor Education Teacher
Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum
Contract: Permanent, Term Time Only
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8.30am - 4.30pm, including 1x 5pm finish

Due to growth in our service, we are recruiting for a PE and Outdoor Education Teacher to join our team at New Barn School in Newbury.
Job Overview
We seek a dedicated PE and Outdoor Education Teacher passionate about physical education and understanding of students with SEN. Responsibilities include providing tailored PE lessons, promoting physical activity, and supporting inclusion of students with SEN in the primary setting.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
* Plan, deliver, and teach students or small groups following the School’s Curriculum and policies.
* Monitor, record, and report on student progress.
* Contribute to and help implement the School Development Plan.
* Promote the physical, educational, and moral development of students.
* Develop and implement individual learning and behaviour plans.
* Organise classroom resources and displays for stimulating learning.
* Ensure student safety on and off-site in line with risk assessments.
* Brief and coordinate with Learning Support Staff and care staff as needed.
