Salary: PRO RATA circa £50,000 per annum (2.5 days per week)

About the Role
We are seeking an ambitious and target-driven Sales Manager to lead and grow our Corporate Event and Party Game Hire sales operation. This is a hands-on role responsible for driving revenue, developing sales strategies, and managing client relationships in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
You will play a key role in prospecting, attracting, and retaining clients working alongside our office sales team and our marketing agency. You will report directly to The Directors.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement effective sales strategies to maximise revenue
* Drive new business through proactive prospecting and lead generation
* Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients and key accounts
* Be market cognitive to identify new opportunities and industry trends
* Collaborate with marketing to create promotional campaigns and materials
* Monitor competitor activity and adapt sales tactics accordingly
* Deliver exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction and loyalty
* Set KPIs alongside management and report regularly on performance, findings, and outcomes
* Attend exhibitions and other relevant events industry events
Skills & Qualifications - ideal
* Proven track record in event, exhibition, or conference sales
* Minimum 3 years’ field sales experience in the events industry familiar with both agency and direct corporate bookers
* Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
* Highly target-driven with a disciplined and focused approach
* Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
* Excellent organisational and time management skills
* Knowledge of market trends and the competitive event landscape
* Proficient in IT systems and CRM software
* A ‘self starter’
