About the role
We are seeking a highly organised, proactive, and detail-orientated Executive Assistant to support our Director in the Division for the Student Experience, the role is in the Directors Office. The role is integral to delivering the University’s strategic objectives and operational plans for the Student Experience. You will be expected to provide high quality organisational and administrative support and will enjoy developing, implementing and managing procedures and systems to ensure that committee/meeting arrangements and materials are consistently delivered to a high standard. You will be able to maintain databases and documents to a high level of accuracy.
The role also involves close collaboration with colleagues across the University, including regular interaction with members of the University Executive Group and Directors of Professional Services, while being responsible for coordinating day-to-day activities, and managing multiple busy diaries.

This role requires someone who anticipates needs, takes initiative, and ensures the Director’s day-to-day operations run smoothly. The ideal candidate will be a trusted partner who not only understands and aligns with the director’s preferences and priorities but also plays a key role in supporting strategic delivery—ensuring efficient, appropriate support, enabling the director to remain focused on high-impact priorities.

A thorough induction will be provided, covering all aspects of the role and its scope including clear expectations of ways of working in the Directors Office and the wider University.
