Business Analyst / Project Delivery (Hybrid) Up to £55,000 Hybrid (Liverpool area) We're working with a growing, technology-led organisation delivering a live software platform used in complex, real-world operational environments. As the platform continues to evolve, they're looking to bring in a hands-on Business Analyst / Project Delivery specialist to help structure, prioritise and drive work across the development lifecycle. This is a practical, delivery-focused role - ideal for someone who enjoys sitting between business and engineering, bringing clarity to requirements while ensuring work progresses smoothly from idea through to release. The Role You'll play a key role in translating business needs into structured, actionable development work, while also helping coordinate delivery across a small, collaborative software team. This is not a pure BA role, and not a traditional PM role - it's a hybrid where you'll:Shape and refine requirementsManage work through delivery tools (e.g. Azure DevOps / Jira)Support sprint activity and team coordinationEnsure work is clearly defined, prioritised and delivered effectively You'll be working closely with developers, technical leadership and business stakeholders, acting as the glue that keeps delivery aligned and moving forward. Key Responsibilities Own and manage the backlog, ensuring work is clear, prioritised and ready for developmentTranslate business requests into well-structured user stories / tickets with clear outcomes and acceptance criteriaTrack work through the full delivery lifecycle (requirements build test release)Facilitate smooth day-to-day delivery across the team (stand-ups, planning support, follow-ups)Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify requirements, resolve ambiguity and maintain momentumImprove the structure and quality of tickets, documentation and processes over timeSupport communication between technical and non-technical teams What They're Looking For Essential:Experience in a Business Analyst, Project Manager, or hybrid delivery role within a software environmentStrong hands-on experience with tools like Azure DevOps or similarProven ability to turn loose requirements into structured, actionable development tasksSolid understanding of the software delivery lifecycleExperience working closely with developers and technical teamsStrong organisational skills and attention to detailConfident communicator who can challenge, clarify and drive outcomes Nice to Have:Exposure to Agile delivery (Scrum / Kanban)Understanding of APIs, data or cloud-based systemsExperience in engineering, industrial, or operationally-focused environments Why This Role?
