Job Title: Multi-Skilled Engineer
CBRE GWS is recruiting a Lead Engineer for our site in Epsom, Surrey. This role involves managing planned and reactive maintenance work, ensuring service quality, and working closely with the site team to deliver excellent service.
Role Responsibilities:
1. Meet technical KPI’s and SLA’s for all activities.
2. Report on asset conditions via CAFM system, updating records and highlighting additional plant/equipment.
3. Proactively raise work orders for corrective maintenance and PPM.
4. Maintain up-to-date site records, ensuring compliance and readiness for audits.
5. Follow all CBRE policies and procedures.
6. Deliver activities professionally, enhancing customer experience.
7. Participate in callout rotations for urgent/emergency responses.
8. Support outside normal hours or other sites as needed.
9. Report delays or issues to Facilities Manager for rescheduling or escalation.
10. Supervise third-party contractors, review safety documentation, and issue permits.
11. Report safety concerns via 'unsafe acts/conditions' reporting system.
12. Assist with project works overlapping with operational delivery.
13. Maintain site consumables to prevent delays.
14. Manage professional email communications promptly.
15. Attend training and meetings as scheduled.
Experience and Qualifications:
1. Experience in Facilities Management/Maintenance Engineering.
2. 18th Edition electrical wiring regulation certification.
3. Experience with Reactive and PPM maintenance.
4. Degree or qualification in Electrical or Mechanical discipline.
5. Strong customer focus and commitment to improvement.
6. Knowledge of emergency response, standby, and call-out protocols.
7. Understanding of utilities and environmental monitoring programs.
8. IOSH or equivalent health and safety training.
9. Excellent contract and supplier management skills.
10. Strong communication and facilitation skills at all levels.
11. Self-motivated, resourceful, and proactive.
12. Decisive and confident decision-maker.
13. Desirable: Water hygiene (L8), BMS controls, HVAC experience.
