We are looking for a high calibre Head of/NAC expert with a passion for consumers and brands to join the team at UCC. The successful candidate will create a retail strategy from scratch and drive the growth of our branded and private label offer. They will also have line management of 2 NAMS who will look after our existing retail and café business.
The Role:
* Creating and implementing the Strategy with UCC cross channel teams to win new business in Grocery and Out Of Home channels.
* Line management of 2 NAMs to develop their capability
* Partnering with Senior Marketing lead to create compelling insights to secure new opportunities.
* Holding P&L responsibility, you will deliver against challenging yet exciting growth objectives and demonstrate high business acumen across the channels.
* Clarity of forecasting and accountability for your teams number at all times across the key drivers:
* Coffee to Go (smart vending proposition)
* Side products (syrups, cleaning solutions)
The Person:
* A proven highly driven results focused sales leader with broad commercial acumen
* A great influencer and communicator at all levels
* A superb collaborator, comfortable working with multiple departments
* Able to demonstrate skills/experience in the following: Experience gained from the away-from-home and/or retail grocery sectors. Strong preference for experience from a blue-chip background and FMCG training.
* Experience of senior selling across different channels including convenience, multiples, foodservice and Grocery.
* High drive and tenacity to deliver growth in customers/sales/volumes.
* Proven track record of securing new business of scale.
* Proven experience of creating and implementing strategies to win new business.
* Experience with Category, Brands and Solution Selling.
* Multiskilled negotiator.
* Strong numeric and data analytical skills.
* Commercially astute.
