Network Rail is looking for a Lead Trainer in S&T to join the team at the Larbert Training Centre. In this position, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting the growth of railway newcomers, apprentices, and seasoned employees looking to enhance their expertise in a new area.
About the role (External)
As an S&T specialist, you’ll be part of a supportive and close-knit team at the Larbert Training Centre, consisting of six Lead Trainers and two Senior Trainers, each focusing on specific disciplines. This opportunity allows you to advance your career, with access to funded further education programs and CPD training days. A strong commitment to safety and a safety-critical mindset are essential, along with previous experience in delivering S&T training.
Note: A recognised training qualification, such as a City & Guilds Level 3 in Training and Assessing (or equivalent), is required.
* Contract: Permanent
* Hours: Monday to Friday, full-time (35 hrs per week), 8 am – 4 pm

* Maintain and develop your technical skills and adult education capabilities

* Assess delegates fairly and support their learning opportunities
* Evaluate training impact post-course
* Assist the Training Delivery Manager with program design and centre performance
* Be flexible to meet training objectives and contribute to continuous improvement
* Support company policies and promote managerial values
