Role and Location
Position: Teaching Assistant – Blackwood
Salary: from £90 per day
We are recruiting Teaching Assistants to support day-to-day, short-term, and long-term positions on behalf of schools in Blackwood and surrounding areas.
Responsibilities
* Assist with preparing lessons in all areas of the school curriculum with consideration of varied levels of student abilities.
* Follow instructions and maintain a positive attitude.
* Provide stimulating activities while ensuring hygiene and safety rules.
* Maintain a supportive and clean classroom environment.
* Identify and support the unique needs of each student and find appropriate solutions when challenges arise.
* Communicate effectively with other teachers and families as needed.
Qualifications
* Minimum of NVQ Level 2, CACHE Level 2, BTEC, BA (Hons) Education or equivalent experience in an education setting.
* Minimum of 3 months’ experience inside a UK primary or secondary classroom or teaching assistant environment.
