Candidate Profile

Demonstrates a clear understanding of Good Manufacturing and Distribution Practice (GMDP) requirements and the importance of adherence to quality systems, controlled procedures, and regulatory standards.
Works effectively as part of a team, communicates clearly with management and colleagues, and remains flexible and dependable when required to support operational needs, including covering absences. Shows strong awareness of health, safety, and environmental requirements, infection control, and contamination prevention, taking a proactive and responsible approach to daily hygiene, cleaning, and documentation tasks to support product quality and patient safety.
Job Purpose
Responsible for maintaining consistently high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the site in accordance with Good Manufacturing and Distribution Practice (GMDP), approved cleaning schedules, and health and safety procedures within a regulated medical device environment. Supports the hygiene team in the completion of daily cleaning and sanitation activities, ensuring tasks are carried out in line with documented procedures, quality requirements, and contamination control measures.
Proactively identifies and reports any issues, deviations, or non-conformances to management, contributing to continuous improvement and compliance with quality and regulatory standards. Demonstrates flexibility and reliability by providing cover for absences due to holiday or sickness to support ongoing operations and maintain site compliance.
Key Responsibilities
* Following approved cleaning rotasand documented procedures in line with Good Manufacturing and Distribution Practice (GMDP) and site quality requirements.
* Maintaining a high level of health and safety awareness, promptly identifying and reporting any health, safety, quality or environmental concerns in accordance with site policies and regulatory requirements.
* Ensuring high levels of cleanliness are maintained throughout the site
* Supporting other hygiene staff with day-to-day tasks, working collaboratively to ensure cleaning activities are completed effectively and in line with expectations.
