Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Team Leader to join our dynamic team in the care sector. This pivotal role involves overseeing the delivery of high-quality care services in a Domiciliary care setting, ensuring that our clients receive the best possible support and assistance. The Senior Team Leader will be responsible for leading a team of care staff, implementing care plans, assisting with risk assessments, spot checks, and fostering a positive environment for both our clients and staff.
Responsibilities
* Lead and supervise a team of care staff, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
* Develop and implement individualised care plans tailored to the needs of each client.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices in senior care.
* Foster effective communication within the team and with clients families to enhance service delivery.
* Conduct regular assessments of clients needs and adjust care plans accordingly.
* Maintain accurate records related to clients care and staff performance.
* Promote a culture of respect, dignity, and compassion within the home care environment.
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for residents.
* Drive initiatives aimed at improving service quality and resident satisfaction.
Skills
* At least an NVQ level 3 and Proven experience in a supervisory role within a care home or senior care setting.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with clients, families, and colleagues.
* Knowledge of developing and implementing care plans tailored to individual needs.
* Proficiency in IT systems related to care management and documentation.
* A valid driving licence is required

* £14.25 weekday
* £15.25 weekends
* £21.37 Bank holidays ( time and half)
* £28.50 Xmas and new years day (Double time)
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £14.25-£30.50 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
