Our custom events and private executive experiences sit at the heart of what we do. They only work when the right people are in the room — and that’s exactly what this role is responsible for.

We are now looking for a Head of Custom Delegate Acquisition to lead and grow our global delivery function.

This is a senior role for someone who enjoys building teams, creating structure, and delivering consistently high-quality outcomes in a fast-moving, collaborative business.


What the role is about

You will be responsible for ensuring every custom event we run is delivered with the right mix of senior decision-makers from the right target accounts.

You’ll lead a team that identifies, engages and secures those delegates, working closely with Sales, Client Success and Event Operations to make sure expectations are clear and delivery is strong.

Your focus is on creating a predictable, well-run system that allows everyone — clients, delegates and internal teams — to have a great experience.


What you’ll be doing

Leading delivery

• Own delegate delivery across all custom events

• Ensure account coverage, seniority and relevance are right for every programme

• Keep delivery on track and risks visible early

Leading the team

• Manage and develop the Delegate Acquisition team

• Run regular 1-to-1s, coaching sessions and training

• Set clear goals and support people to hit them

Building the engine

• Create and refine processes for outreach, tracking and forecasting

• Maintain strong CRM and reporting discipline

• Improve how we plan and deliver at scale

Working with clients and Sales

• Partner with BDMs and Client Success on target lists and delivery plans

• Help set realistic expectations and keep communication clear

• Act as a trusted point of contact during live projects

Being part of the events

• Attend and support key custom events

• Represent Rela8 in a professional, confident and commercially aware way

Experience

• 5+ years in B2B delegate acquisition, demand generation or event delivery

• 3+ years managing or leading a team

• Comfortable working with target account lists and senior stakeholders

• Strong organisational and reporting skills


What you get

• £40,000 - £50,000 base salary DOE

• Uncapped commission (OTE £70k+)

• 21 days holiday + bank holidays

• 2 weeks paid over Christmas
