Payroll Officer | £28,000-33,000 | Liverpool
A Payroll Officer is being recruited to join a well known organisation based in Liverpool city centre.
In this role you will be responsible for running accurate weekly and monthly payrolls across multiple sites across the UK, as well as supporting with improvements and processing procedures. Key duties will be:
* Processing new starters, leavers, salary changes for weekly and monthly payrolls
* Calculating pro rata payments for both weekly and monthly payrolls
* Processing CSA, court orders and attachment of earnings
* Uploading expenses information into payroll system
* Processing, SSP, SMP, SPP and SAP
* Pension administration and payments
* Third party deductions, processing letters and emails, and supporting employees with queries
* Assisting with end of year tax procedures eg. p60, p35
* Processing manual calculations
* Supporting with benefits administration on ad hoc basis
For this Payroll Officer role, you must have the following skills/experience:
* Experience with both weekly and monthly payrolls is highly desirable
* Multi-site payroll experience is also advantageous
* Able to work in a fast paced business
* Able to process manual calculations
* Strong team player
* Ability to identify issues and solve problems
