What doesa Payables Processing Assistantat Collinsondo
We are looking for a payablesprocessing assistant to come and join us on a 12 monthscontract.The Processing Assistant will take responsibility forprocessing purchase invoices across all divisions of CollinsonGroup. Ensuring correct records are maintained which will satisfythe external auditors and ensure all suppliers are paid in a promptmanner.
Yourduties will include and are not limited to the following activitiesand tasks:.
* Data entry of purchaseinvoices & credit notes.
* Checking andsubmitting employee expense forms.
* Ensure allinvoices are authorised and posted in time to meet the managementaccounts deadline.
* Provide payment requests tothe payments team.
* Create payment runs
* Assist with payment queries
* Provide proof of payments/remittances asrequired
* Produce manual cheques when requiredand immediately post on the system.
* Reconcilesupplier statements on a monthly basis ensuring copy invoices arerequested and received where necessary.
* Postdirect debits/payments that have been made from our bank accountinto the financesystem.
* Filling
* Any othertask that may reasonably be requested by the wider financeteam/Supervisor
Keyskills and experience to be evidenced within your applicationinclude
* Dataentry experience ideal but not required.
* GoodExcel skills
* The candidate will have goodcommunication skills both written andoral.
* Ability to work as part of a team butalso capable of working on owninitiative.
* Attention todetail.
* Ability to accurately complete taskswhile meeting key deadlines.
