SEND Teaching Assistant - Primary Provision (Bolton) - BL1

We are currently seeking a committed SEND Teaching Assistant to work in a welcoming primary SEND provision in Bolton.
This is a long-term, full-time position offering the opportunity to make a meaningful difference to pupils who require consistent, structured and nurturing support.
SEND Teaching Assistant - The Role:
* Primary SEND provision based in Bolton
* Support pupils with a range of special educational needs and challenging behaviour
* Provide 1:1 and small group support
* Assist pupils with emotional regulation and behaviour management strategies
* Promote positive behaviour, engagement and wellbeing
* Support learning across the primary curriculum
* Monitor pupil progress in collaboration with teaching staff and the SEN team
* Help create a safe, inclusive and structured learning environment
SEND Teaching Assistant - Key Information:
* Long-term, full-time role
* Monday to Friday, school hours
* Term-time only
* Supportive senior leadership team and experienced SEN professionals
SEND Teaching Assistant - Person Specification:
* Must have previous experience supporting children with SEND
* Must have experience managing challenging behaviour
* Calm, patient and empathetic approach
* Ability to build positive and trusting relationships with pupils
* Confident, resilient and proactive attitude
* Team Teach training is desirable, or willingness to complete training
* A positive role model with a supportive and nurturing personality
