Role - Teachers of Design and Technology
Location - Canterbury
Start Date - September 2025 - full time
Salary - 31,650 - 49,084 depending on experience
Tradewind Recruitment are actively searching for enthusiastic Teachers of Design and Technology for secondary schools in the Canterbury area. The roles are a September start and will be until the end of the academic year - July 2026! The roles will be full time with a salary of between 31,650 and 49,084 depending on experience.
The role:
* Create and deliver lesson plans across KS3 and KS4 ensuring all abilities and needs are met
* Foster a deep appreciation for Design and Technology and its relevance to the modern world
* Track and monitor progress to ensure all students reach their full potential
* Work collaboratively with colleagues within the Design and Technology Department and across the wider school
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Proven experience as a Teacher of Design and Technology across KS3 and KS4
* Excellent behaviour management
* Strong communication skills
* Hold or be willing to apply for an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
* CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
* Legal right to work in the UK
