We are looking for a Jetvac Operator Team Leader (Jetting) to join our growing team of drainage engineers. You’ll be working alongside our other service engineers across a large number of our commercial client sites across the North West, the Midlands, & North Wales.
The ideal candidate will have previous drainage experience and will be familiar with unblocking drains, using JHL Jetvacs and carrying out high-pressure water jetting tasks. Ideally you will hold the relevant competencies, but where training gaps are evident or where refresher courses are needed, we will offer full support and training will be provided. This role will support the effective, efficient, and safe delivery of our client services by attending client sites to conduct planned and reactive services.
This role is a fully remote role and requires a full UK HGV class 2 driving licence.

Hours & Location of Work:
Main location - This is a fully mobile role covering the North West, North Wales, and the Midlands.
Regular hours of work - Monday to Friday, 7.30am to 4.30pm - 42.5 hour working week. Whilst this is our company standard working week, our clients require "out of hours" maintenance so early starts/late finishes & night works are to be expected.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications:
Essential:
* HGV class 2 driving licence
* Minimum 2 years’ operating a Jetvac
* Minimum 2 years’ drainage experience
* Minimum 2 years’ experience operating High-Pressure Water Jetting Equipment
* High pressure water jetting safety awareness certified
* Working knowledge of drainage systems
* Working knowledge of unblocking drainage systems
* Confident problem solver
* Excellent communication skills
* Sound understanding and experience of meeting Health & Safety obligations
Desirable:
* Manual handling
* First Aid
* Confined Space entry certified
* Asbestos Awareness Certified
* CSCS Card
* Responsibilities include:
* Working on commercial and industrial sites cleaning drainage systems ready for CCTV inspection, tank emptying, HPW jetting/drain cleaning works, drain unblocking and drainage works problem solving.
* Providing accurate timesheet information to designated timeframes
* Supporting contract teams with meeting SLAs by attending client premises within the desired time frame
* Supporting Thermatic with maintaining positive client relationships through on-site interactions with representative and customers of our clients
* Assisting office-based staff by providing accurate and good quality information for any further works quotations.
* Producing technical and situational reports as required
* Escalating any major site issues or incidents via the appropriate channel and within acceptable timeframes
* Supporting the training and upskilling of junior drainage engineers
