Location: Milton Keynes (HQ) - Fully office based
Salary: £28,000- £30,000 + Monthly Commission
Hours: 35 per week, Monday- Friday (9:00- 17:00), with occasional out‑of‑hours availability required
Autotech Recruit, part of Autotech Group, is looking for an enthusiastic and relationship‑focused Recruitment Consultant to join our Service & Parts team. In this role, you’ll support clients across the UK by placing skilled Service Advisors, Parts Advisors, and Aftersales professionals, while managing a pool of contractors and ensuring smooth, successful workforce delivery.
What you’ll be doing
Client Management
· Build and manage relationships with clients requiring service and parts personnel.
· Act as their main point of contact for workforce needs and booking requests.
· Coordinate contractor placements and ensure excellent service levels.
· Maintain proactive communication to anticipate demand and identify opportunities.
· Spot opportunities to place permanent candidates across existing clients.
Contractor Management
· Manage a network of contractors across multiple client assignments.
· Provide booking details, assignment information, and ongoing support.
· Check in regularly with contractors to ensure smooth delivery and resolve any issues.
· Be available for contact outside standard working hours when needed.
Recruitment & Talent Sourcing
· Source, screen, and assess candidates for temporary and permanent roles.
· Build and maintain a strong network of qualified contractors.
· Manage the full recruitment process from sourcing to placement.
· Keep all candidate information updated within the CRM.
Booking & Scheduling
· Coordinate contractor schedules and bookings in line with client demand.
· Monitor availability and maximise contractor utilisation.
· Identify opportunities to increase deployment across existing bookings.
Administration & Compliance
· Manage timesheet submissions, approvals, and regular contractor check‑ins.
· Maintain accurate records of bookings, rates, and contractor details.
· Support payroll through timely and accurate administration.
· Ensure all onboarding and compliance documentation is complete and up to date.
Commercial Performance
· Maximise gross profit (GP) through effective negotiation and workforce planning.
· Monitor the profitability of bookings and contractor utilisation.
· Identify opportunities to grow revenue through additional placements and account development.
What you’ll bring
· Experience in recruitment, workforce coordination, or a customer‑focused role (service/parts/automotive desirable but not essential).
· Strong relationship‑building and communication skills.
· Confidence managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
· Ability to work independently and take ownership of your workload.
· A proactive approach, with strong organisational and problem‑solving skills.
· Comfortable using CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
