Overview
Moorfields Eye Hospital invites applications for the post of Outpatient Clinic Coordinator at Moorfields at Ealing. The post requires administrative duties across varying hours: 08:00-16:00, 09:00-17:00, 10:00-18:00. You will provide high quality clerical and administrative support as a member of one of our administrative teams and act as the first point of contact for all patients in both busy outpatient environments and the administrative offices.
Responsibilities
* Provide high quality clerical and administrative support as a member of one of the administrative teams.
* Act as first point of contact for all patients in a busy outpatient environment and in the administrative offices.
* Perform reception duties: meeting and greeting patients on arrival, checking patients in to the appropriate clinics using the Trust's patient administration system, booking clinic appointments, and accurately recording patient data.
* Additional administrative duties: ensure clinics are booked to profile, answer queries (by telephone and in person), filing, and support the Team Leaders & Clinic Manager with clinic cancellations and other administrative duties.
Qualifications and Skills
* Good interpersonal skills, a polite and courteous manner, and a professional attitude.
* Effective verbal and written communication skills; able to work as part of a team.
* Ability to cope under pressure in a busy working environment.
* Accuracy and attention to detail; good computer skills.
