About the role:
To play a key role in the design and development of innovative medical and healthcare products at OPD.
About you:
We’re looking for an experienced product designer with a minimum of five years of medical and healthcare product development experience, preferably gained in a consultancy environment.
Role Responsibilities:
* Producing innovative and technically excellent designs
,
* Maintaining quality, processes, procedure and standards within the business and demonstrating a meticulous and methodical approach to project delivery
,
* Communicating with clients clearly and confidently while showing sound commercial judgement
,
* Delivering projects within scope, to time and on budget
,
* Collaborating effectively with colleagues and actively mentoring junior members of staff
,
* Ability to work autonomously and independently when required
Role Requirements:
* 5 years minimum of relevant medical and healthcare product design experience
,
* Degree in Design or Engineering related discipline
,
* Familiarity with ISO 13485 working processes
,
* Motivation towards the application of human factors to product development
,
* Excellent 3D CAD skills (preferably SolidWorks)
