Job Description
The key responsibilities within this role:
3. Monthly management accounts to year end standard (I&E, Cash Flow, Balance Sheet, Capex) including supporting commentary and variance analysis
4. Assisting the leadership team in preparing budgets and forecasts, including the annual 5-year financial plan
5. Deliver accurate, complete and timely statutory returns (ensuring consistency across them)
6. Deliver monthly forward-looking cash flow forecasts to support decision making and statutory reporting
7. Actively manage the treasury resources
8. Oversight of monthly processes and actions to ensure strong debt management process are being adhered to and support by associated analysis and reporting
9. Oversight of monthly processes and actions to ensure strong P2P environment and effective delivery of creditors ledger
10. Be responsible for the creating and maintaining a robust financial control environment
11. Ensure that appropriate financial regulations and accounting procedures are implemented and kept up to date with reference to industry standards
12. An excellent communicator with the ability to lead various internal teams and transactional sub teams
13. Establish strong working relationship with Financial Director to ensure alignment of prioritisation and effective use of resources
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will possess:
14. A full accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
15. Experience of successfully leading and managing direct reports
16. Knowledge of preparing financial forecasts and annual budgets
17. Proven experience of developing and enhancing management accounts and associated processes
18. Outstanding organisational and analytical skills
19. Excellent oral and written communication skills with attention to detail in presenting financial information combined with ability to produce meaningful commentary on financial trends and performance
20. Be an expert in budget planning and monitoring
21. Proven ability to translate technical accounting reports or information into management information to support strategic decision making.
22. Extensive experience of developing reporting to communicate financial insight to business leaders and budget owners to promote financial sustainability.
23. Experience of working alongside senior stakeholders to guide decisions to a financially sustainable outcome

There is a highly competitive day rate on offer (inside IR35). Due to the urgent nature only candidates immediately available/available at short notice will be considered. This is a hybrid working position with 2 days a week required on-site
