Job Title: FP&A Accountant
Location: Bury St Edmunds / Hybrid
About the Role
I am delighted to be partnering with an innovative organisation based in Bury St Edmunds seeking to recruit an FP&A Accountant to join their dynamic finance team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality financial and performance reporting, budgets, and forecasts across part of the Group. You’ll also provide first-line finance business partnering, ensuring insight, accuracy, and timeliness in everything you deliver.
What you’ll do:
Produce accurate weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad-hoc financial and non-financial reports with insightful commentary.
Lead on the production of budgets, forecasts, and strategic plans, working with budget holders to ensure accuracy.
Partner with their BI team to move standard reporting into BI solutions, improving efficiency.
Provide first-line finance support to the business, balancing great service with efficiency and standardisation.
Support capital expenditure project justifications and ad-hoc financial analysis.
Continuously improve processes to increase efficiency and reporting quality.What they’re looking for:
Qualified or part-qualified accountant.
Advanced Excel skills (including Macros/VBA).
Strong PowerPoint and presentation skills.
Ability to analyse complex problems and develop innovative solutions.
Confident communicator, able to influence and adapt to different audiences.
Highly organised with the ability to prioritise and deliver under pressure.
