We are looking for a resource planner to join our team in Newport to provide support and development of the daily & strategic planning.

The role will actively coordinate the following support areas:

* Working closely with the Operations Management team including regular coordination with assistant operations managers (AOMs), PAM medical coordinators, ABP Academy Trainers, 3rd Party Resource providers and HR
* Absence management
* Maintain KPI’s, dashboards and adhoc reports
* Promote continuous improvement and process standardisation within the department
* Ensure all compliance measures are maintained and promote a safe working environment
* Support the team to deliver our internal/external SLAs, with support from the Operations Planning Manager

Skills & experiences

* Good standard of education including Level 2 literacy and numeracy, or equivalent
* Extensive experience of Microsoft Office and strong working knowledge of excel related functionalities (Macros, Pivot tables etc)
* Capacity to work with limited supervision, to make decisions and work on own initiative
* Ability to work in a busy environment, working to deadlines on multiple actions
* Effective communication skills, to deal tactfully and sensitively with people at all levels
* Good organisational and interpersonal skills, with a high level of attention to detail and appreciation for data
* Ability to work as part of a team

Ideal

* Previous experience with workforce management systems and platforms
