Are you a passionate and qualified English Teacher looking to make a meaningful impact in a unique and rewarding educational environment? We are working on behalf of a client based in Milton Keynes who is seeking a dedicated and experienced English Teacher to join their education team, supporting young people through rehabilitation and re-engagement in learning. This is a fantastic opportunity to deliver a purposeful and engaging English curriculum in a secure and supportive setting, designed to equip learners with essential literacy skills and qualifications for life beyond education.
About the Role:
* Deliver high-quality English Language and Literature lessons leading to Level 1/2 and GCSE qualifications
* Develop engaging schemes of work that support reading, writing, and communication skills
* Support students with varying educational backgrounds and complex behavioural or social needs
* Work collaboratively with a skilled team of educators, SEN professionals, and external agencies
* Inspire learners to build confidence, develop key skills, and achieve meaningful qualifications
What We're Looking For:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) is ideal
* Previous teaching experience in English is required
* Experience working with SEN pupils and/or in alternative or secure settings is highly desirable
* Strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills
* Resilience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to inclusive education
