Are you a highly specialist critical care dietitian with developed leadership skills?
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a self‑motivated Dietitian to join the Acute Dietetics Team at Leighton Hospital, Crewe.
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Band 7 Dietitian to lead the Acute Team within a team of supportive senior colleagues and lead the Critical Care inpatient service.
The successful candidate will have advanced clinical knowledge of complex enteral feeding and parenteral nutrition.
Previous experience providing complex nutrition support in the acute setting is essential long with experience working within a critical care unit.
You will contribute to the ongoing development of both the dietetic critical care provision and the wider dietetic service.
You will provide clinical leadership for the dietetic team, supervising junior staff, supporting student training, and promoting a culture of evidence‑based practice.
As an integral member of the MDT, you will contribute to the critical care rehab ward round, formulating plans for patients with complex nutritional management and supporting improved patient outcomes.
Strong communication skills, leadership experience and bringing innovative ideas on how to develop a specialist service is key.

To have lead responsible for the development, coordination and delivery of an advanced dietetic service to patients on critical care within MCHFT.
To formulate, deliver and monitor nutritional care plans for referred patients. This would include highly complex clinical conditions and diet therapy on critical care and supporting care across wards at Leighton Hospital
