We are looking for a compassionate, reliable, and proactive Patient Services Assistant to join our busy Emergency Department. You’ll play a vital role in maintaining a safe, clean, and calming environment for patients - supporting their dignity, comfort, and wellbeing every day.
This role is ideal for someone who values meaningful work and wants to make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable patients and their families.
Interviews for this position will be held in person ONLY. Remote interviews will not be available.

Main duties of the job
The main duties of a PSA will include:
1. Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and infection control across the ward.
2. Supporting patients with meals, hydration, and non-clinical comfort needs.
3. Assisting with preparing bed spaces and communal areas.
4. Engaging with patients in a kind, respectful, and person-centred manner.
5. Working closely with nurses, healthcare assistants, and the wider team.
6. Helping create a calm and therapeutic environment for patients with dementia and delirium.
