We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a UK Payroll Associate for our iiPay business, part of our award winning Global payroll division. Reporting to the Senior Manager, UK & European Payroll Operations, this full‑time, permanent position can be based in our UK, Hungary, Romania or Poland offices and offers local coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact on our payroll business and its growth.
All our roles can be performed remotely with occasional visits to the office as requested by your manager. Where we have office locations, our team members are welcome to work remotely, on a hybrid basis or fully office based as they wish.
Our highly motivated and engaged team members are at the heart of our success! This role requires owning and delivering the UK payrolls for a range of international clients. Working closely with a variety of clients to professionally deliver a quality UK payroll service.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver accurate and compliant UK payroll processing for assigned clients and payrolls, coordinating the client’s requirements and managing the process.
* Manage and deliver client payrolls against the agreed schedule, communicating directly with clients to meet or exceed deadlines and expectations; escalating issues within the client and iiPAY teams to meet and exceed agreed SLA.
* Strive to improve systems, processes and payroll delivery environment to maximise efficiency and accuracy; maintain high customer satisfaction rating.
* Maintain clear and informative communication with clients, implementation team, and client account managers.
* Take responsibility as primary operations contact point for the UK; develop and maintain detailed knowledge of statutory processes and legislative deadlines; work with implementations team to take on new payrolls and clients.
* Own or contribute to specific company projects such as improving and/or changing systems, processes or functions within the business.
* Own, manage and resolve client escalations; seek help and advice where needed; work with payroll provider management team to enhance and develop partner network processes and outcomes.
Attributes/Technical Skills
* Experience in a multi‑client payroll environment, managing a diverse range of payrolls and client relationships.
* Proven track record of delivering UK payrolls while adhering to strict service level agreements; competent with all UK complexities.
* Experience with pension schemes, salary sacrifice schemes and auto enrolment.
* Fully compliant with UK legislation and statutory monthly/ yearly requirements.
* Experience working with international clients both small and large (FTSE & Fortune 500) and ability to communicate clearly and build trust with client contacts.
* Highly motivated, driven professional with excellent communication skills and a track record of delivering high levels of customer satisfaction.
* Extremely organised and takes pride in standards of work.
* Ability to interact effectively with iiPay’s clients and be assertive.
* Intermediate to high Excel skills and capability to manipulate data efficiently within an Excel workbook.
Relevant Experience
* Experience working within a regulated (ISAE 3402 / SSAE 16) service delivery environment.
