Salary: Up to £31,000 per annum +approx. £4,500 per year in sleep-ins
Contract: Permanent, Full Time (39 hours per week)

Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Manager to join a childrens residential home in Wrexham.
This is an exciting opportunity for an established Deputy Manager or an experienced Senior looking to step up, to join a supportive leadership team within a growing organisation. You will play a key role in shaping a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environment for children and young people with complex needs.

About the Role
As Deputy Manager, you will support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring high standards of care, safeguarding, and compliance are consistently met.
You will lead by example, supporting and developing staff while ensuring children and young people receive consistent, high-quality, and therapeutic care.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you will also step up to manage the home in the absence of the Registered Manager.

Key Responsibilities
* Support the Registered Manager with the overall management of the home
* Lead, supervise, and develop staff to deliver high-quality care and support
* Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and safeguarding procedures
* Assist with rota planning, staffing, and resource management
* Promote a therapeutic, child-centred approach
* Support the development and review of care plans and risk assessments
* Build strong relationships with young people, families, and external professionals
* Step up to manage the home when required
What Were Looking For
* Minimum 2 years experience in a childrens residential setting
* Experience as a Senior or Deputy Manager
* NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Children & Young People (essential)
* Strong knowledge of safeguarding and Ofsted regulations
* Experience managing rotas and budgets
* A confident, resilient, and child-focused leader
* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle

* Full-time role working long days and sleep-in shifts
