Lean Manufacturing Manager

About the Role

Our prestigious, manufacturing client based in Wroxham within the Marine and Luxury Yacht industry, are currently seeking a Lean Manufacturing Manager with Black Belt certification to lead continuous improvement initiatives across the manufacturing operations.

This role is critical to driving operational excellence by making manufacturing processes leaner, smoother, faster, and more cost-efficient while ensuring sustainable change and high performance.

Responsibilities

1. Lead Lean and Six Sigma initiatives to reduce waste, improve workflow, and enhance overall manufacturing efficiency
2. Analyze and optimize manufacturing processes to drive performance, cost savings, and quality improvements
3. Develop, implement, and standardize manufacturing policies, tools, and procedures
4. Collaborate cross-functionally to build a continuous improvement culture and gain alignment on improvement initiatives
5. Provide coaching, training, and mentorship to employees on Lean principles and methodologies
6. Lead root cause analysis, and continuous improvement projects from concept to completion
7. Report progress and improvement results to leadership
8. Ensure long-term sustainability of improvements through effective change management and process control systems
9. Serve as a champion for communication, alignment, and transparency throughout the organization

Qualifications

10. Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification required
11. Proven experience in a lean manufacturing leadership role
12. Experience within an engineering environment (preferred)
13. Strong knowledge of Lean methodologies, Six Sigma tools, and continuous improvement frameworks
14. Demonstrated success in leading process improvement initiatives and delivering measurable results
15. Exceptional communication, coaching, and leadership skills
16. Ability to influence and drive change across all levels of the organization
17. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
