They are seeking a temporary Accounts Assistant who can start as soon as possible to support the wider team for up to 6 months.
Job Description:We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our team. This role offers the flexibility of working three days a week from home and two days a week in our office. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our finance department, particularly in managing a large backlog of bank reconciliations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform general accounts assistant tasks, including data entry, invoice processing, and maintaining financial records.
* Assist with bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness.
* Support the finance team in preparing financial reports and statements.
* Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies and improve processes.
* Provide administrative support as needed.
Required:
* Previous experience in an accounts assistant role or similar position.
* Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Excellent communication skills.
