We are supporting a major global engineering and infrastructure consultancy on a significant HR technology transformation programme, delivered through a leading international IT services provider. As part of this initiative, we are looking for an experienced ServiceNow HR Workflow Engineer to help design and implement HR-centric workflows within ServiceNow HR Service Delivery (HRSD).
This role will sit at the intersection of HR operations, ServiceNow engineering, and enterprise integration, ensuring HR requests and processes are captured, structured, and delivered in a way that enables reliable downstream integrations.
Role Overview
The ServiceNow HR Workflow Engineer will design and build HR request forms, workflows, and approval logic that support HR processes and prepare clean, structured data for integration into other enterprise systems.
You will work closely with HR process owners, IT teams, and integration engineers to ensure HR-driven changes are captured accurately and trigger the appropriate integration events.
This is a hands-on engineering role with a strong consultative element, requiring someone who can both build solutions and help shape requirements with business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and build ServiceNow HR request forms, tables, and workflows
* Define approval paths, decision logic, and structured data capture
* Ensure workflows prepare and trigger integration-ready events for downstream systems
* Act as a consultative bridge between HR stakeholders and technical integration teams
* Ensure workflows are scalable, auditable, and aligned with enterprise standards
* Collaborate with integration teams delivering APIs and workflow automation
Key Skills & Experience
* Strong ServiceNow development experience, particularly HR Service Delivery (HRSD)
* Proven experience designing workflows, request items, catalog items, and approval models xxuwjjq
* Experience preparing structured payloads and integration triggers for external platforms (e.g., integration middleware or cloud automation tools)
* Ability to translate HR business processes into technical workflow designs
* Comfortable working with HR stakeholders to shape and refine requirements
* Strong understanding of enterprise workflow design and governance
