Te Kowhiringa - The Opportunity
Working from our central Auckland office, our refuges and in the community; on a day-to-day basis, you will work with clients to ensure they can achieve and maintain safety. This includes ensuring they have access to basic needs for family, community & cultural support, financial & housing stability, food, learning & employment; and access to equitable & responsive services.
Ngā pūkenga kei a koe - Your Skills and Experience
You are a qualified, registered, and experienced Social Worker with proven experience in the family violence sector (3+ years). Additionally, you have:
* A comprehensive understanding of the causes and dynamics of intimate partner violence
* Knowledge of local social systems and community resources
* A commitment to developing and maintaining strong networks in the community
* Excellent time-management skills and ability to manage competing demands
* Resilience, tenacity, and determination
* Digital literacy, including Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
* The ability to contribute to an on-call roster and work outside of hours from time to time (which will be compensated accordingly)
