Job Overview
We're looking for a passionate, real-life-ready coach to join RWC Fit, led by Coach Rupert Wilson — a coach who's walked the walk and built a space where training is personal, not corporate.
This role is about more than coaching — it's about understanding how it feels to walk into a gym and not know where to start. You'll be running small group sessions (1-6 people) that deliver all the benefits of personal training, without the drama or long-term contracts. It's coaching that's honest, human, and built on connection.
If you're someone who sees people — not just clients — and you're fired up about breaking down gym fear and helping everyday adults feel stronger, fitter, and more confident, this is the place for you.
Key Responsibilities
* Coach small group training (SGPT) sessions (1-6 people) at all fitness levels — from nervous beginners to seasoned regulars.
* Build real relationships. Remember names. Celebrate wins. Be present.
* Guide sessions with expert programming, attention to form, and a personal approach that makes every member feel seen and supported.
* Understand the flow of the room — from warm-up to cooldown, music to mindset.
* Deliver coaching with confidence, clarity, and calm — no shouty bootcamp energy here.
* Create a welcoming space where people want to show up, train hard, and come back again.
* Work closely with Rupert and the team to improve systems, communication, and class delivery.
* Occasionally support in community events, content creation, or member check-ins.
What We're Looking For
* A coach who gets people — who remembers what it felt like to be intimidated or uncertain, and wants to help others move past that.
* Experience in personal training or group coaching (1-6 ratio ideal).
* Ability to read the room — adapt, scale, and cue based on real-time feedback.
* Open to learning, refining, and growing your coaching craft alongside Rupert and the team.
* Excellent communication skills (on the floor and off).
* Passion for fitness that's inclusive, real, and habit-driven.
* Bonus: experience with habit coaching, mindset work, or working with neurodivergent clients.
The Coach Rupert Wilson Spin
We don't do big ego energy.
We don't do one-size-fits-all plans.
We don't do fake hype.
At RWC Fit, we lift heavy, laugh loud, and meet people where they are. We drop the weight — physically, emotionally, mentally — and pick up dumbbells, one session at a time.
If you believe fitness is more than aesthetics…
If you believe coaching can change lives (because maybe it changed yours)…
If you're ready to show up and help people train hard and live better...
Then you might just be the coach we're looking for.
Perks & Progression
* £ per session / competitive rate, with opportunities for growth.
* Mentorship with Rupert Wilson, including business, mindset, and coaching development.
* Access to a thriving local community.
* Opportunity to grow your own book or take on more responsibility within the gym.
