Social Worker - St Albans Family Safeguarding Team 👩💼👨💼
Location: Apsley, Hemel Hempstead 🏢
Pay: LTD/UMBRELLA £37/hr 💷
Hybrid: 3 days in office per week 🖥️🏠
Main Duties & Responsibilities 📝
Work within Hertfordshire County Council's Family Safeguarding Team West.
Provide support for children and families, using the "Family Safeguarding" approach 👨👩👧👦.
Collaborate with multi-agencies to achieve the best outcomes 🤝.
Manage caseloads of under 20 children per Social Worker.
Conduct assessments, care planning, reviews, and deliver welfare reports to conferences and court hearings ⚖️.
Participate in training, including motivational interviewing 💡.
Receive regular supervision based on case risk.
Use iPads and work from various county "Touchdown" locations 📱.
Free on-site parking available 🚗.
Person Specification ⭐
Qualified and Social Work England registered 🎓
Minimum 1 year post-ASYE experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills ✍️🗣️
Knowledge of legislation, guidance, policy, and procedures 📚
Proficient in Microsoft Office 💻
Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle 🚗What happens now?
