This role involves delivering high-quality, person-centred support to individuals with complex health needs in their own homes. Training and competency sign-off are provided by an in-house team of Registered Nurses to ensure confidence in your responsibilities.
Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality, person-centred care to individuals with complex health needs, including tasks such as manual cough assist, digital stimulation for bowel management, postural and spinal support, PEG care, and tracheostomy care.
* Assist with continence, mobility, meal preparation, and helping with household tasks while promoting independence and wellbeing.
* Provide ongoing support with medication administration and monitoring as trained and supervised by healthcare professionals.
* Support clients with daily living activities and help maintain a safe, comfortable home environment.
Qualifications and Requirements
* At least 6 months of hands-on care experience in a UK care setting.
* Ideally experience with spinal and brain injury, but full training is provided.
* Valid driving licence and own vehicle access is required (community-based role).
* Role involves personal care, unsupervised work with vulnerable individuals, and flexible hours including mornings, days, evenings, and night shifts.
* Aged 18 or over; Enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references required.
