About This Role
We have the opportunity to appoint a School Staff Instructor to join our CCF Team at Brooke Weston Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible to the Contingent Commander who will oversee all training, stores, equipment, security, weapons maintenance and administration of the Trust’s Cadet Contingent, together with ensuring compliance with the requirements for security as laid down in the relevant MOD publications. The SSI will assist the Contingent Commander with the running and organisation of the Cadet Contingent and to participate in some CCF activities. The SSI will also be supported by a part-time Storeman, who will act as quartermaster and supply organiser to the CCF.
Responsibilities
* Assist the Contingent Commander in the running and organisation of the Cadet Contingent.
* Oversee training, stores, equipment, security, weapons maintenance, and administration for the CCF.
* Ensure compliance with security requirements as per relevant MOD publications.
* Participate in some CCF activities as required.
* Work with a part-time Storeman who acts as quartermaster and supply organiser.
Hours and Working Arrangements
Hours per week: 15 hours per week, no lunchbreak. 52 weeks per year. Actual working hours to be agreed. Flexibility will be required for events including weekends and evenings.
Qualifications/Experience
* Driving licence required.
* Experience with coordinating teams or similar administration is desirable (not explicitly required in the original text).
