Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Acro/Dance Teacher to join our ever growing dance studio. The ideal candidate will possess a strong enthusiasm for acro and dance and a desire to inspire students of all ages and skill levels. This role offers an opportunity to share your expertise, foster creativity, and help students achieve their acro/dance goals in a supportive environment. The position is paid and suitable for qualified acro instructors.
Duties
* Deliver engaging acro lessons tailored to the skill level of each student
* Develop customised lesson plans that promote technical skills, artistry, and confidence
* Provide constructive feedback and encouragement to motivate students and enhance their performance
* Organise and supervise rehearsals for performances or competitions when required
* Maintain a safe and positive learning environment by adhering to health and safety guidelines
* Assist with studio events, workshops, and community outreach programmes as needed
* Track student progress and communicate regularly with parents or guardians (for younger students)
Experience
* Proven experience as an acro/dance instructor or performer with a strong background
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire students of diverse ages and backgrounds
* Relevant qualifications in dance teaching or performance are desirable but not essential for enthusiastic applicants willing to learn
* Prior experience working with children or adults in an educational setting is advantageous
* A professional attitude combined with patience, creativity, and organisational skills is essential for success in this role
Pay: £12.50-£30.00 per hour
