The Role We are seeking an experienced Paraplanner to support the Head of Financial Services, providing high-quality advice and ensuring our clients receive accurate, compliant, and timely recommendations. This role combines technical financial expertise, research, and report preparation in a team-focused environment. Key Responsibilities Analyse clients’ circumstances, portfolios, and objectives, preparing comprehensive recommendation reports. Conduct whole-of-market research across investments, pensions, and protection plans. Analyse asset allocation and review clients’ existing portfolios. Provide technical, administrative, and research support to the Adviser. Maintain accurate client records and ensure FCA-compliant processes and controls. Submit FCA returns in a timely manner to meet due dates Build effective relationships with internal teams and third-party providers. Contribute to projects and team development initiatives. Essential Skills & Experience Strong technical knowledge of financial planning and personal tax. Proven experience producing clear, accurate recommendation reports. Expertise in analysing client circumstances to provide holistic advice. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills. Ability to work independently and meet service targets. Proficient in MS Office and back-office systems. Ambitious, adaptable, and committed to ongoing professional development. Desirable Skills & Experience CII Diploma in Financial Planning level 4 or working towards it. Experience with Intelligent Office, Defacto, O&M and IRESS Exposure to Group Life or Pension Schemes administration. Background in Private Wealth Management.
