Overview
An excellent opportunity had opened up for a dedicated and skilled Working Landscape Foreman to oversee and coordinate high spec landscape design & construction projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in landscaping, with mechanical knowledge to effectively manage equipment and tools. This role requires leadership abilities to guide a team while ensuring high-quality work and adherence to safety standards.
Duties
* Supervise daily operations of landscape design & build projects, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
* Operate and maintain various hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery, including excavators, to perform landscaping tasks.
* Conduct regular inspections of work sites to assess progress, quality of work, and compliance with safety regulations.
* Provide training and support to team members in the use of equipment and best practices in landscape construction.
* Collaborate with clients ensuring daily updates on all projects.
* Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and project timelines.
Experience
* Proven experience in landscape construction roles is essential & consideration may be given to dedicated skilled landscaper who may wish to further their career goals and aspirations.
* Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
* Experience operating excavators and other heavy machinery safely is an advantage.
* Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to landscaping tasks.
