A friendly and ambitious mainstream primary school in Darwen is looking to appoint a Year 5 Teacher for a 1‑year maternity cover position. This is an excellent opportunity for a committed educator who is passionate about supporting upper Key Stage 2 pupils as they prepare for the transition into Year 6.
Teaching responsibilities
* Delivering high‑quality, engaging lessons to a Year 5 class.
* Supporting pupils’ academic progress across core subjects, ensuring strong foundations for Year 6.
* Using assessment data to plan effectively and personalise learning.
