About Us
Here at Hays Education, we have built great relationships with all the primary schools in the Dover area. The cover requirements tend to be very high, whether on a day-to-day supply basis or on a long-term basis to cover sickness/maternity etc. We are consistently getting a high demand for all-year groups in primary schools. We also ensure that we offer consistent, paid work to our teachers. We hold numerous relationships with schools in the Kent region, and our support for schools is greater than ever.
What We Offer
We are looking for Supply Teachers willing to work flexibly. This opportunity is ideal for gaining valuable experience for the next academic year or picking up extra days of supply work. It’s perfect for those seeking flexible work that fits around their lifestyle, allowing you to work in different schools and increase your experience across various educational settings.
You can work as little or as often as you like, choosing schools you prefer.
We offer long-term, contract, permanent, and day-to-day work, along with CV writing and interview tips to help you advance your career.
Requirements to Succeed
To register with Hays, you must be passionate, driven, and eager to succeed as a teacher. Core criteria include a minimum of 2 months of recent teaching experience within the past 4 years (including university placements), the right to work in the UK, and QTS. If you lack QTS or recent teaching experience, you can register as a Teaching Assistant or Cover Supervisor if you have worked with children for at least 1 month in the past 4 years.
We welcome applicants currently working for other agencies.
Benefits
As a Hays Supply Teacher, you will receive a competitive pay rate (based on experience), holiday pay, and access to our exclusive e-learning platform, where you can complete safeguarding and other courses for free to support your professional development.
