We're looking for compassionate, reliable individuals to join our Specialist Complex Care Team supporting a friendly and outgoing lady with a spinal cord injury in her own home near Worcester.
About Our Client
Our client is a kind, outgoing woman with a great sense of humour. She lives in a peaceful rural home and enjoys spending time in naturewhether that's relaxing in the conservatory, enjoying an ice lolly in the sun, or listening to the rain.
She loves crime and murder mystery shows, has a passion for horses, and is always up for a day out with a bit of encouragementespecially to the beach or into the community. She uses her wheelchair independently, and we're looking for someone who will continue to support and promote that independence.
She has recently received new IT equipment and would benefit from support to build confidence using it. Her parents visit often and are a close, supportive part of her life.
What We're Looking For
We're seeking a friendly, engaging support worker who can encourage and assist with outings, online shopping, and daily activities. If you're someone who enjoys a good laugh and helping others live more independently, you could be a great fit.
? Shifts to Suit You
Whether you prefer 12-hour day shifts or waking night shifts, we've got options:
* 8am8pm or 8pm8am
* Full-time or part-time (24, 36, or 48 hours/week)
? About the Role
Join a supportive, person-focused care team and help empower our client to live life to the fullest. You'll support her with:
* Personal care & medication
* Moving & handling
* Bowel management & cough assist
* Social activities: trips out, online shopping, and more!
No previous spinal cord injury experience? No problem!
We provide full training + shadow shifts to help you feel confident and capable from day one.
? Requirements:
* A kind, caring, and reliable nature
* Strong communication skills
* A full clean UK driving licence (you'll be driving the client's adapted vehicle)
* Own means of transport
? What You'll Get:
* up to £13.00 per hour (based on experience/qualifications)
* *£250 Welcome bonus will be authorised after 3 months and 468 hours completed
