Live-in or Live-out Housekeeper Job in Tring, Hertfordshire
A warm and welcoming family of five is seeking a professional and dedicated housekeeper to care for their beautiful modern home in Tring, Hertfordshire. The family, with three boys aged 13, 11, and 7, and one small dog, are looking for someone reliable, kind, and proactive to join their household. The property is a modern 5-bedroom house set over three stories. The family also have a small friendly dog.
Duties include:
1. Daily cleaning and housekeeping to a high standard
2. Laundry, ironing, and wardrobe management
3. Light cooking and food preparation
4. Plant care and seeing in deliveries
5. Occasional dog walking and care for family pets (including chickens)
6. House and pet sitting when the family is away
7. Occasional visits to the family’s holiday home on the South Coast (travel costs covered) to prepare and clean the property
8. Ensuring the home is well-organised, tidy, and running smoothly
The ideal candidate:
9. Experienced, trustworthy, and highly organised
10. Has a strong work ethic and excellent attention to detail
11. Flexible and happy to help with a range of household tasks
12. Comfortable working around children and animals (must love dogs)
13. Holds a valid driver’s licence
Accommodation: Private basement guest suite comprising a super king bedroom with shower ensuite, kitchenette, living area, and separate outside entrance.
Working week: Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week
Hours: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm, with some flexibility
Start date: As soon as the right candidate is found
Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 GPA (depending on experience)
