Reporting to the Farm Manager, you will benefit from excellent training on all aspects of the job and will be given a full rota covering 40 - 50 hours per week including alternate weekends. Your role will involve all areas of animal husbandry, becoming a specialist in your field. Ideally you will have experience of livestock (specifically pigs) but that isn't essential.
The positions have a technical element alongside them, as you will adhere to stringent hygiene and health/safety protocols so you must have an appreciation for regulations and adopt a safe attitude to work. A driving licence and your own transport are required due to covering certain duties of the role and due to the location of the farm.
