Assistant Retail Store Manager - Based Bristol
Candidates must hold a UK driving licence

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Assistant Retail Store Manager and Sales professional who can assist the Retail Store Manager in the day to day running of the store and management of the sales team. Any experience in tiles, flooring or the home improvements sector is desirable along with an interior design background would be advantageous.
As the Assistant Retail Store Manager, you will generate sales through retail and trade customers, concentrating on reaching sales targets and increasing profits whilst also managing stock control, merchandise, and staff training.
As the Assistant Retail Store Manager, you will be a natural salesperson, with a confident and outgoing personality and excellent communication skills.
The successful candidate will demonstrate working on their own initiative and as part of a team and be enthusiastic about the brand to create an unforgettable fantastic shopping experience for customers.

Duties
* Assist the Retail Manager in the running of the showroom
* Manage, supervise and motivate the sales team
* Assist in training and developing new and existing team
* Monitoring and maintain monthly sales targets
* Generating new sales through local businesses
* Identify areas in the product range where improvements can be made
* Liaise with various head office departments where required.
* Assisting with showroom paperwork and develop in-showroom displays
* Dealing with customer complaints
* Process sales/cash handling and banking duties
* Serve and assist customers and provide a high level of expertise and knowledge
* Key holder – opening and closing the showroom/store.
* Showroom/store security/health and safety.
