We are looking for a Stores Assistant to work on one of our customer sites.
What you’ll do
On a normal day you will contribute to the effective operation of the onsite Maintenance and Consumables Stores. Core tasks include stock replenishment and picking orders, booking stock in/out via our computerised system, and ensuring that all vending solutions on site are stocked with the correct level of product. Business hours are Monday to Friday on a 24-hour rotating shift (06:00–14:00, 14:00–22:00, 22:00–06:00) with additional shift premiums for twilight and night shifts.
Main duties
* Provide excellent customer service to all external and internal customers
* Assist with Continuous Improvement projects within Stores
* Daily restocking of all vending machines on site
* Accurately book out items from the stores
* Receipt deliveries into computer systems within an agreed timescale
* Work with management team to reduce stock outs to customers
* Processing of returned items to the stores
* Engage in Plant/Production Critical spares management process
* Adhere to all stock management processes and procedures
* Ensure that all tasks are completed in a timely manner
* Perform any reasonable task in line with management instruction
* Work efficiently and effectively as part of a team
* Fulfil training programs deemed necessary to allow efficient performance of duties and assist in personal development
* Promote health and safety in line with Cromwell’s and Customer Health & Safety Policy within the site operation and report all cases of non-conformance
