We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our partner primary school in Wisbech. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our teaching staff and enhancing the learning experience for our students.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver lessons in the absence of the class teacher, covering PPA time and short-term absences.
* Assist in the planning, preparation, and delivery of lessons.
* Support individual students and small groups to achieve their learning goals.
* Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
* Contribute to the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
* Assist with classroom management and organization.
* Participate in school activities, including outings and events.
Requirements:
* HLTA qualification or equivalent.
* Experience working in a primary school setting.
* Strong understanding of the primary curriculum.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
