Browns Food Group is growing, and we're looking for a practical Mechanical / Electrical Engineer to join our fast-paced manufacturing site. This is not a desk job - we want someone who enjoys fault finding on the tools, improving plant reliability, and being a key part of the production operation.

What You'll Be Doing
You'll be right at the heart of the factory, ensuring machinery and infrastructure run safely, efficiently, and without disruption.
* React quickly to breakdowns and get production back up and running
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to keep downtime low
* Strip down, rebuild, repair, and fault-find on plant and equipment
* Work on mechanical systems including hydraulics, pneumatics, and steam, and/or electrical systems depending on your background
* Support installations, upgrades, fabrication, and general maintenance
* Complete maintenance records and paperwork accurately
* Work safely at all times, following Health & Safety, Hygiene, and Site Procedures
Qualifications & Experience
Electrical Engineers:
* Minimum 3 years' experience
* 17th or 18th Edition qualification
Mechanical Engineers:
* Minimum 2 years' experience
* Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, steam, and general plant maintenance
Shifts:
* Rotating shift pattern:
* 1 week 6:00 – 14:00
* 1 week 13:55 – 21:55
* 13 Saturdays per year
