Job Description
Every day our teams help people in businesses and communities to do what is right to achieve their goals. The Business Consulting team works on corporate change, transactions and regulation changes, working closely with clients across a range of sizes and sectors to understand unique business challenges and collaboratively find solutions.
Responsibilities
* Help make a difference to public sector clients supporting them to deliver modern public services that are sustainable, people‑centred, data‑driven and digitally enabled.
* Be part of an exciting client engagement team across sectors and capabilities, developing analytical skills, insights and consulting expertise.
* Develop sector and technical knowledge and apply it in real complex client scenarios.
* Be pivotal in the delivery of engagements, liaising with senior stakeholders.
* Actively listen, ask probing questions challenging thinking, and present innovative solutions.
* Identify, suggest and drive practice development initiatives, ensuring you are a key part of our growing practice.
* Take personal responsibility and pride in high‑quality deliverables, demonstrating excellent time management and communication.
* Contribute to positive morale and entrepreneurial culture within the team.
* Demonstrate understanding of services and capabilities of Public Sector Consulting and Wider Consulting.
* Build a strong network of contacts within the firm and across the public sector.
Qualifications
Minimum criteria
* Professional qualification (ACA, ICAS, CA, ACCA or CIPFA). Other professional qualifications will be considered if appropriate.
* Extensive experience using Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.

* Interest in working in the public sector.
* Robust analysis and interpretation of outcomes.
* Commercial and strategic thinking to propose new solutions.
